The online Assessment Literacy for English Language Teachers (ELTs) is a digital course developed by the University of Bedfordshire. The course includes a combination of webinars, readings and resources to equip participating teachers with the basics of assessing English speaking skills in the classroom. In addition, the course enables participating teachers to share and discuss their understanding, reflect on their classroom practice through forum discussions and get support from moderators on the Online Teacher Community (OTC) platform.
This combination of input, direct application and community support ensure that the course is highly effective and will ensure that teachers can apply their new understanding of assessment to their classroom practice.
