Teachers researching their practice: Explorations in the Georgian classroom is a collection of 17 case studies on the experience of 17 Georgian teachers who participated in the training aimed at the development of classroom research skills.
The publication is the result of the British Council’s Exploratory Action Research online training for teachers of English, conducted in collaboration with the Georgian National Teacher Professional Development Centre (TPDC).
This classroom research skills development training enables teachers to delve deeper into their own teaching practice through action research cycles and to take a more systematic approach to improving teaching methods.
Through carefully designed research cycles, participants are able to identify areas for growth, implement innovative strategies in the classroom and assess their effectiveness. This process of enquiry and reflection not only enhances the participants’ teaching practice but contributes to their growth as teachers.
