As part of our #StayHome with the British Council programme, we are organising a series of dialogues between universities in the UK and the countries in our region to share experience in our response to Covid-19 in the Higher Education sector.

On 7 May we launched this series with a live session where we explored how different universities coped with the current situation.

The speakers at the session were:

  • Simon Guy, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Global, Lancaster University
  • Raziya Isayeva, Director of Development, Khazar University, Azerbaijan
  • Roman Shulyk, National University of Ostroh Academy, Ukraine
  • Dr Ivana Kraincanic, senior lecturer at London South Bank University

During the session, the panellists shared their university's experience in using technology to respond to the current challenges faced by students, teachers, and university as a whole. They gave examples of what has and hasn't worked and discussed various ways of moving forward.

At the end of the session, the participants had a chance to ask the panel questions.
