Learning Time with Timmy for 4-5 year olds

The British Council's early years specialists have designed Learning Time with Timmy to be fun and engaging for your child. Our approach to learning nurtures your child's creativity, critical thinking and social skills as they learn English. 

It boosts their self-confidence and helps them develop communication skills and good pronunciation.

We have partnered with Aardman animation studios because the stories of their world-famous character Timmy, star of Timmy Time , enable your child to learn new words in context. Timmy and his friends will capture your child’s imagination.  This connection deepens their engagement in the learning process. It gives your child a more memorable and motivating experience, and a stronger foundation in English.

In this course your child will: 

• describe, imitate, and change familiar stories. 
• invent stories and express them through art, drama, dance, movement, information technology.
• be aware of own feelings and describe some of them.
• describe him/herself and express preferences and opinions.
• extend vocabulary by grouping and naming objects.
• link sounds to letters, begin to segment sounds in simple words and blending them together to read.
• recognise numbers and count up to 20.
• order familiar events in stories and familiar steps in everyday tasks
• recreate roles and experiences in play situations.

We offer registration dates throughout the academic year. If your child brings a friend to enrol in our course, we will offer a 15% discount on the course fee for both children.
